Effect of Liners on Composite Resin Microleakage after Selective Carious Lesion Removal. An experimental Study

چکیده
Objetive: To evaluate microleakage of composite resins (CR) placed over different cavitary liners after managing deep caries lesions through selective removal soft carious tissue to dentin (SRCT-S). Material and Methods: Fifty four human teeth were collected for testing. Each assay comprised ICDAS 5 or 6 sound controls. Sound prepared with cavities that mirrored the cavities, which SRCT-S. further randomly assigned one three experimental groups: Group A: universal adhesive (UA) + CR, B: glass ionomer cement liner UA C: calcium hydroxide UA+ CR. Occlusal (OM) cervical (CM) was classified within depth categories. ANOVA Chi-square tests computed (p<0.05). Results: OM CM similarly distributed across subgroups (p>0.05). All C samples presented some degree microleakage. However, no statistically significant differences observed between groups each group Conclusion: Teeth restored CR SRCT-S using as a material seem exhibit higher than those alone. Further clinical research is needed deepen these findings. Clinical significance: The application under resin may reduce longevity restoration performing partial tissues. Clinicians should rethink need this application, albeit lack evidence.

Effect of Liners on Microleakage in Class II Composite Restoration
This study was carried out to evaluate the microleakage of Class II cavities restored with various types of lining materials. Four types of composite resins (Esthet-X-Denstply, USA, FiltekTMZ350-3M ESPE, USA, BeautifilShofu, Japan and Solare P-GC, Japan) were used and the lining were the Fuji IXGP (GC, Japan), the Beautifil flow (Shofu, Japan), the FiltexTMZ350 flow (3M ESPE, USA) and the Esthe...
متن کاملComparison of resin composite restorations microleakage: An in-vitro study
The aim of this study was to compare the microleakage of total-etch and self-etch adhesives by three methods including dye extraction, dye penetration and fluid filtration with determining the correlation value among these techniques. Seventy-two premolar teeth were selected for this in vitro study and Class 5 cavities were prepared on the buccal surface of these at the cemento-enamel junction ...
متن کاملEffect of pre-heating resin composite on restoration microleakage.
Improving the adaptation of resin composites during placement is necessary to increase durability and reduce microleakage. Flowable resin liners have been introduced to improve adaptation in composite restorations. In addition, a device that lowers the viscosity of regular dental composites has been introduced (Calset, AdDent Inc, Danbury, CT, USA). This device lowers the viscosity of composite...
متن کاملEffect of Two Disinfecting Agents on the Microleakage of Resin-Based Composite Restorations in Primary Teeth
Introduction: Disinfection of the cavity preparation after caries excavation can lead to the elimination of bacterial remnants that can be responsible for recurrent caries, postoperative sensitivity, and failure of the restoration. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of two disinfectants on microleakage of composite restorations in primary teeth. Metho...
متن کاملEliminating microleakage from the composite resin system.
Research indicates that microleakage is the major cause of composite restoration failure. Because the different physical properties of composite resin and tooth structure cause microleakage in composite tooth restorations, it is possible to eliminate microleakage by making composite's physical properties more similar to those of tooth structure. This article reviews the physical properties of c...
